Shifting focus in our blog posts, we wanted to look at a topic that's very important to us: Mental health. With all the evens of the last few years, we know mental health has been hard to keep on the positive end and stress has built up.
That's why we wanted to put together this short guide on managing stress and promoting mental well-being. To help people, to make sure everyone is okay and to make sure people can manage their mental health.
First, stress. A major factor impacting mental health, and something every single person will experience daily. But what can we do to manage stress:
Understand your stressors and triggers.
Practice mindful or muscular relaxation.
Take breaks from things that stress you.
Prioritise your nutrition and sleep.
Keep a mental health diary to better understand your stressors.
So, now that we have a few tips to help us manage stress, what else can we do to improve our mental well-being:
Stay active.
Create social connections and social support networks.
Celebrate small wins.
Learn mental coping and mindfulness techniques.
Get enough sleep.
Cut back on alcohol.
Eat well.
