We know what it's like being an adult, how hectic life can be and how it can feel like you have no time to get what you need to done. With work, family, social and other commitments it feels like there's no time left for self-care.
So we are here to help, putting together a few tips to assist with making exercise a habit, and fitting it into your routine!:
Find an efficient time effective workout, you don't need to do a 2 hour weight session and run 10km.
Schedule your workouts like you do other meetings.
Fit it around your day, short lunchtime workouts are a great idea.
Find the time of day that works for you, don't force morning workouts if you're not a morning person.
Reward yourself for achievements.
Set SMART goals.
Find an exercise you enjoy, it will feel like less of a chore and make it a more enjoyable part of your day.
Find a friend to workout with and keep you accountable.
Build a social support network, people to help motivate, keep you on track and reward you.
Set realistic achievable goals. You don't have to set massive over the top goals, set goals that challenge you but are achievable.
